What is the Parent Advisory?

Parent Advisory was formed in September 2010 to allow for parent input and feedback to Leland & Gray administrators, faculty, and staff with the goal of improving academic life. The Advisory meets with Dr. Dorfman to discuss issues such as:

  • The effectiveness of block scheduling
  • Structure and effectiveness of parent conferences
  • Increase of academic rigor
  • Grant opportunities for the school, such as the 21st Century grant

 The Advisory is not a forum to discuss individual parental concerns regarding teachers or students. Rather, this is an opportunity to collaborate on the overall academic vision of the school. Please join our meetings each month.

Meetings are scheduled for the 3rd Tuesday of each month.
