GAME CANCELATION:

The 8^th grade girls and boys basketball games against Green Mountain have been canceled for this evening.

PERTUSSIS UPDATE:

During calendar year 2011, 94 cases of pertussis (whooping cough) were confirmed in Vermont.  As of January 25, 2012, 26 cases have already been confirmed, some as close as Windsor County.  So far there are no cases confirmed in Windham County.  Vaccination is the best protection against pertussis.  One dose of Tdap vaccine is recommended for people 11 years and older.  Regardless of vaccination status, see your doctor if you or your child has a cough of any duration, especially if followed by whooping, vomiting, or gagging; if you or your child is coughing and you have been notified of a close exposure to pertussis; or if a coughing illness lasts more than two weeks.

DANCE PARTY
This Saturday January 28^th stay out late at the Dutton Gym. The Dance Party will take place between 9:00 p.m. and Midnight. The dance is only open to high school students. Proceeds go to benefit substance free activities for Leland and Gray.

TEAM PHOTOS

Winter basketball and Snowboard photos have been rescheduled due to our snow day. They will take place Tuesday, February 7^th. Please be sure students bring their uniforms to school.
