HEY! You!!
Lots of new programs are underway and some begin over the next few weeks. Already up and running on Mondays are Combustion Engines, Steampunk Sculpture, Weight Training, and later in the afternoon (4:15), Ultimate Frisbee. On Tuesdays beginning at 2:30 are SAT Prep, Hip Hop, Sound Scholars, Ceramics, and Pickle Ball. Wednesdays bring Ultimate Frisbee, D&D, Mural Painting, Social Justice (all at 2:30) and Bike Force (at 3:00). On Thursdays expect SAT Prep, Newspaper, and Fly Tying. Also on Friday will be the last session of Cultural Cooking. Ms. Julian-Cisse will be cooking up something from Spanish Cuisine. And beginning this week on Tuesday is InSight Photography. We will leave from the front circle at 2:45 and be back to the school by 5:45. Unfortunately, the late bus is too early for us and parents will have to arrange transportation home from the school. A Babysitting Course, a Rugby Workshop and something Mr. Sperling calls the "Potato Club" are coming soon. Any Questions? Contact Susan Gunther-Mohr or Megan Altshuler
SUBSTANCE ABUSE INFORMATION FOR PARENTS/GUARDIANS
The middle school and high school student counsel groups have planned a dance for Saturday, April 14th. There is a special presentation and question/answer session for parents with the START coordinator. Issues such as changing the drinking age and legalizing marijuana will be addressed along with brain development and prevention. Drop your kids off at the dance and come next door for refreshments, hard questions, and good conversation.
GAME CANCELLATION
The Junior Varsity Softball away game against Mill River this weekend April 14th has been canceled due to player availability. The Varsity game will be played.
